"IDODH - Dr Marko Antonov Markov - Varna" SOLC possesses of the following items:
- Diagnostic consulting building(DCB) and a chemistry in Varna, "Chataldja" boulevard ¹111 in Base ¹1
- Hospital building and an administrative building in Varna in Base ¹2- quarter "Asparuhovo", in a place called "Vilite"
- Department of Ray therapy in Varna - "Saint Anna" JSK
The main building is the center of Varna near the basic medical complex in the city, where the Department of Ray therapy is located. The second building is obtained by the medical institution based on a decision of the Municipality Varna in 2003 and is situated in the picturesque hill of quarter "Asparuhovo".
The buildings have been constantly improved so that the conditions for the patients and for the staff become better.
The material base of "IDODH - Dr Marko Antonov Markov- Varna" SOLC has all the instruments necessary for the effective treatment of the oncological and preliminary oncological diseases and for medical practice.
The Diagnostic - consulting block (DCB) of the hospital has electricregulator, kolposcope, mammograph, echograph "Aloka", computer tomograph, fibragastrosope for higher and under frontier with possibility for biopsy.
Clinical laboratory has:
- automatic haematological counters CELL-DYN 1700 and Sysmex KX-21
- automatic biochemical analyser Express Plus
- automatic immunological analyser IMX and ACS: 180
- blood-gas analyser CIBA-CORNING M 248
- automatic coagulameter STArt 4

The Department of "Clinical pathology" has: paraffin microtomes, centrifuges, thermostats, microscopes.
The Department of "Medicinal oncotherapy and palliative cares" has 22 beds for patients and a hospital with 5 beds, which offers perfect conditions for medical therapy - no a long stay of patients needed.
In the Department of "Surgery" 20 beds are opened for the sick patients. The department is equipped with the most contemporary medicinal technics and instruments. It has two new operating rooms and intensive care ward with a high quality apparatus and six beds. In the department there is the only one thermoablator in Varna for removing metastases in liver by the control of echography and also surgically.
The Department of Oncogynaecology has the only one hysteroscope in Varna with possibility for diagnostics and therapeutical hysterscophy, an electric knife, aspiration system, argon-laser system and all the necessary surgical instruments. The department has 10 beds.
The Department of Oncogastroenterology is a new one and takes its activity since 01.01.2005. The department has endoscophy center, in base ¹1-DCB and another department with 10 beds in base¹2- quarter "Asparuhovo".
The department and its section has modern medical equipment for gut medical practice. They have fibroscope, composition rigid-rectoscopes, accessories for endoscope for accomplishing of diagnostical and therapeutical procedures under electric surgery.
The Department of "Graphic diagnostics":
The sector, which is in (DCB), disposes of a modern mammography FLAT- E and echography applied for the needs of the polyclinic apparatus activity.
On the area of the hospital complex in base ¹2 –in quarter "Asparuhovo" are situated:
- Computer tomograph with thermoprinter, which gives the results of the tests
- X-ray apparatus with possibility for scopic and graphic tests
- Modern echograph ALOKA with possibility for dopler tests
The Department of Ray-therapy has 36 beds and accomplishes the treatment with the following apparatus (appliances):
- Apparatus for telegamatherapy <<Rokus>>AM for treatment of all kinds of oncological diseases
- Apparatus semi-deep and superficial X-ray therapy for treatment of dermal carcinoma.
The department has 6 beds for day hospital.
The department has 42 beds - 36 for patients and 6 beds for day hospital.
In this department is located a specialized consulting room for teaching medical staff on probation and for increasing the qualification of medical staff..
In Base ¹2 quarter "Asparuhovo" all the rooms are renovated and tidy in accordance with the medical standards.
All the consulting rooms of the doctors, surgery, the nurse’s rooms, the toilets, the place for visit and the yard of the hospital have modern face.
